LETs Talk is a project started by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka in 2017 with the goal of enhancing the knowledge of young professionals by giving talks in collaboration with prominent members of the society on timely key subjects and other skills that are required in shaping up their careers.
LETs Talk project mainly emphasizes the evolving soft skills of tech
enthusiasts and educates students, professionals, and anybody with a
desire to achieve greater heights, as denoted. Participants will have
the opportunity to hear from eminent professionals who will offer
their expert expertise in a variety of sectors.
The
presenters highlight opportunities, hurdles, disappointments, and
success stories, as well as illustrate words and jargon and offer
advice on common rookie mistakes made by young professionals. The flow
is set up in such a way that participants can have a post-speech
conversation with the speaker to get their questions answered.
Considering IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional
organization, it clearly has the potential to provide opportunities
for a significant number of young people. This program is open not
only to IEEE Young Professionals, It will be a great opportunity for
anybody who is enthusiastic and excited about engineering.
